The Eye Associates of Michigan (TEAM)

It is our mission at The Eye Associates of Michigan (TEAM) to provide ethical eye care excellence.

Dr. Shaw is a board certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in glaucoma surgery. This means that addition to comprehensive eye exams to screen for diseases such as dry eye, cataract, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, she has received additional fellowship training to better diagnose and treat glaucoma. Glaucoma, known as β€œthe sneak thief of sight,” is one of the leading causes of blindness in the United States. Early diagnosis and treatment is key. If surgical intervention is needed, Dr. Shaw is able to treat even the most severe glaucoma with the latest minimally invasive techniques. If you are considering glaucoma surgery, ask your doctor if they are fellowship trained.
