Ionia Montcalm Secure and Friendly Environment Child Advocacy Center (IM SAFE CAC) mission is protect children from abuse by providing prevention through education and to coordinate multi-disciplinary investigation, assessment and treatment of child abuse The mission of the Ionia Montcalm Secure and Friendly Environment Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is to protect children by providing multi-disciplinary investigation, assessment, and treatment of child abuse in an environment that is child-sensitive, supportive, and safe.

A big THANK YOU to Independent Bank for hosting the 25th Annual Chili Dawg Challenge during Ionia's Autumn Celebration. They raised over $6,000 for two local Ionia charities. The IM SAFE CAC was fortunate to be one of those charities and recieved a check today for $3,130.00. Thank you to everyone who made this wonderful event possible! We appreciate your support❤️

The IM SAFE CAC is interested in diversifying its board. Do you have a passion for helping children who are victims of child abuse in Montcalm and Ionia Counties? If you're a resident of Ionia and/or Montcalm County, and are available the 4th Friday of each month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, and Nov) from 8:30am-10:00am, we want to hear from you! You can send a letter of interest and a copy of your resume to Lori Kirkhoff at lkirkhoff@imsafecac.org. You will be required to pass a background check and be approved by the current board.
