✨It’s Mental Health Monday!✨

Remember, it’s okay to slow down, take a step back, and give your mind a little break. Sometimes the simplest things, like working on a puzzle, listening to music, or even watching something as calming as this Newton’s Cradle can help reset and refocus your day.🩷

Happy Friday from the IM SAFE CAC! We are having our Case Review this morning with our Montcalm County Multi Disciplinary Team. Each month a representative from each department attends this meeting to discuss all the cases that came through our center in the past month. This is an important opportunity for us to collaborate on the entire case and make sure our families get all the services they need. Thank you to all those on the team for their hard work❤️

We are so thankful to have CACMI supporting us so we can provide the best services possible to our families. Thank you to all the staff at CACMI for all you do! We appreciate you!

Consistent practice across the state starts with shared knowledge. CACMI provides multidisciplinary team (MDT) partners with access to specialized training and technical assistance that bridges the gap between theory and frontline action.

By offering these opportunities at the statewide level, we reduce barriers to high-quality education for professionals in every region. This coordination allows local centers to focus on their vital direct services, knowing they are supported by a network committed to the latest evidence-based practices.

Members from the IM SAFE CAC's Youth Advocacy Council (YAC) had a wonderful time at Central Montcalm's Art Showcase last Friday!

Our YAC members' service project was included in the showcase: a "What I Was Wearing" Exhibit. Using mannequins and stories from sexual assault survivors, this exhibit sheds light on the myth of clothing being a factor of abuse. Their display also spreads awareness about sexual and physical assault, and educates the community about the services we provide at the CAC. YAC members spoke with visitors to their exhibit to explain their service project and why they were passionate about it.

They did a fantastic job putting it all together! Thank you to Central Montcalm Schools for including their exhibit in the Art Showcase. Check out the exhibit in the photos below! First photo, left to right, includes YAC members and advisors who were at the Art Showcase: Advisor Christy Harter, Member Makenzie Rockafellow, Member Ava Bowen, and Advisor Tracy Sedore.
