At Strong self mental health we are all about honoring people’s existing strengths. Part of that process is paying attention to things that strengthen someone—sometimes its relationships, sometimes it’s an activity. Leap Day is a little gift comes along every 4 years. Doing things that strengthen us can help set the tone for the next for next four years so it’s the perfect time to do something that strengthens us. Maybe it’s restorative rest, maybe it’s something creative, maybe it’s something adventurous maybe it’s something an act of loving. Regardless we hope in the hustle and bustle of a busy Thursday you can find a few moments to strengthen yourself.

Today is December 1. Our feeds will soon be full of to-dos, magical activities, and joyful must-dos. Whatever age our people are, we want or feel compelled to make the magic happen, year after year. Strong Self Mental Health wants to remind you to rest. This month, most of our content will be focused on self-care and rest. We are here to gently prod your nervous system, and you, to rest.
