We had a visit last week from the Fergus Falls High School Homecoming Royalty! We really enjoyed seeing these young people all dressed up! They introduced themselves and told us about their plans for the day. We appreciated their visit so much! One of our residents got to see her great grandson!!

Beautiful day at Glendalough State Park! Great weather, good picnic lunch, and lots of fun and fresh air. Thanks Chaplain Kevin, LeAnn, and volunteers Rhonda and Bill. We couldn’t have done it without you!!

Thursday: day five. Patriot Day! There was a lot of red, white and blue here today. Had a program in the afternoon remembering 911 and sharing our memories.

Tuesday: day three of assisted living week. Hawaiian Day! We had a Luau this afternoon. Great time visiting with friends, learning about Hawaii, its customs and food!

Monday: day two of assisted living week. “Hat Day”. We showed off our hats and enjoyed good music from our singer who always wears his hat!!

Grandparents Day is Sunday September 7th. Check out our Mill Street closed caption TV (in our common areas, or channel 15 in resident rooms) To see several pictures of residents and staff with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
