June 4th is Rural Cancer Awareness Day- it is a day about raising awareness, advocating for policy change, encouraging early detection, supporting healthcare providers, and empowering rural communities to address the unique challenges associated with cancer care in rural areas. We are proud to say that it is currently recognized in 11 states!
