Maranda, our dietary aide, was chosen as our Employee Spotlight for the month of March. We asked her these five questions and here are her responses:
⭐️ 1. Tell us about your family.
I have two grown sons and a beautiful new daughter-in-law. Excitedly expecting a grandson in June. For me, family includes three dogs and one cat, and most importantly, the friends and their kids, of the grown children that have come into my life over the years.
⭐️ 2. What is on your bucket list?
I have a passion for orchids and would love to travel to Hawaii to some of the vendors I have purchased from over the years. Not to mention, wouldn't be super sad to see the ocean and dangle the cold Minnesota toes in.
⭐️ 3. What is your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas. Having all the family together, eating wonderful food, and celebrating the season is lovely.
⭐️ 4. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Hard question and I haven't really thought about this much, however, somewhere tropical and warm with a simple life.
⭐️ 5. What is your favorite part about your job?
The smiles and banter with the residents for sure. It's so enlightening that simply being in their presence is amazing and very fulfilling. The kitchen team and all the staff at Park Gardens are fun to work with and makes the days of work go by with enthusiasm.
