Day 6: 30 Day AB Challenge

This one is humbling for me!
Flutter and scissor kicks are deceptively difficult!

If you're struggling to keep your lower back pressed to the floor, you're not alone. I tried using a blanket for support, but what worked best for me was tucking my hands under my hips.

Start slow. Like really slow! Try 10 focused repetitions with full attention on your form and breath, and build up from there. It's better to do fewer reps with awareness than to push through and strain your back .

This challenge isn't about perfection. It's about showing up, breathing through the work, and learning what your body needs to feel strong and supported.

On November 1st I decided to go meatless until Thanksgiving 🦃🦃

I'm sharing some of the meals I made during the first week. I really didn't miss the meat at all. Honestly, I don't eat that much meat anymore to begin with. Challenging myself to eat this way has been an opportunity to create new recipes. One of my favorites from this batch of meals was the Shrooms & Black Bean balls. I've experimented with this recipe before, but I think this batch was the best yet.

🌕 Full Moon in Aquarius Ceremony

Join me on August 9th at 7pm at the Scott Road beach access to celebrate the completion of another cycle.

This Full Moon was known as the Sturgeon Moon by the indigenous peoples of the Great Lakes region. It has several other regional names, but they all have a theme of ripening and abundance.

Let's gather as the sun sets for insights on astrology and the full moon, open our hearts with the healing and heart-aligning properties of cacao, and soothe the soul with a guided meditation and sound bath.

Meet me on the sand. Bring a blanket or high-backed beach chair, something to drink, and dress for the weather.

Suggested Donation is $25 (all are welcome, irrespective of donation)
