Everything in your life is energy: your emotions, your stress, your overwhelm, your holiday to-do list, even the tension you feel walking into certain rooms. Quantum physics calls this the field. Reiki works in that field, helping your system shift from scattered, chaotic energy into coherence and calm, like tuning forks naturally harmonizing each other.

Your nervous system is a bioelectric network, and when you’re overstimulated or bracing for holiday interactions, that network gets scrambled. Static, noise, short circuits. Reiki smooths the electrical “frizz” in your field so your body can shift from survival mode into safety. That’s why it feels like an exhale your body didn’t know it needed.

My Sacred Hearth Reiki Portal Card Pull...

I decided to do the optional card reading for myself yesterday. Partly out of curiosity, partly because I needed my own reminder of “where am I, really?”

These were my three questions… and wow. As usual, spot on...

1. Where have I abandoned parts of myself that are ready to return home?
I pulled Forest, the card of roots, foundations, and forgotten magic. It reminded me that some parts of me didn’t disappear… they simply went underground, waiting for safety.
This season is asking me to slow down, tend my inner soil, and call those pieces back. No rushing. No forcing. Just rooting.

2. How can I cultivate deeper harmony within myself and my closest relationships?
Wise Men came through with a very firm-but-loving nudge.
Harmony right now doesn’t come from emotional reactivity, it comes from clarity.
From boundaries.
From taking a breath before responding.
From choosing discernment instead of spiraling.
This card reminded me that I get to be the steady one, the grounded one, the wise one, even when things feel messy. I get to be her. I get to stop searching for her/him/that safety.

3. What energy will help me enter winter feeling safe, seen, and supported?
I pulled Star, the inner north star we all have but don’t always trust.
This card told me that I already know the way.
That my instincts are enough.
That the glimmers, the nudges, the quiet little “go this way” moments are my map right now.
Winter needs me to listen.

My husband just came home from deployment, and my whole heart feels softer. Even though he made it home in time, the kids and I had already created new holiday traditions together... little twists and choices they got to make on their own.

But what I’ve learned is that the qualities I admired most in them were already sleeping inside me, waiting to be remembered.

When I began healing through my womb — through the insecurities and fears that kept me stuck — I realized…
they aren’t more magical than me.
And I’m not more magical than anyone else.
We’re simply at different stages of remembering who we are.

Once I started tending to my own energy, listening to my body, and honoring my truth, I stopped surviving… and started living.
I could breathe again — take my kids out for dinner without guilt, give them allowance with joy, and actually enjoy the life I was building instead of constantly chasing it.

This season of my life isn’t about hustling harder — it’s about healing deeper.
Because when I’m aligned, when I’m present, when I’m connected to my own power — everything flows.
