We are about to unroll some very specific permanent packages for Lipedema management at + here in Ferndale
My mom and grandma both had lipedema but I really didn't accept that I did till almost 30. I had lost a lot of weight but still struggled with my legs. When I had multiple vein surgeries and struggled to maintain my figure, I knew I had to accept it, I had lipedema.
Lipedema essentially is like clotted fat. Fat or adipose tissue, is commonly gelatinous and smooth for the most part.....just bulky. When you have lipedema, some of the fat turns into these marble like substances that can more visibly be seen.
So it's not cellulite.
It's diseased fat. And there's still a lot to learn about it.
But I want to offer the community my knowledge because I do manage it-without shame.
I talk about it.
I try to stay healthy and vital.
And it's a condition that has management cacapabilities.

Time to get vulnerable.
For 4 very hard years I have worked, sacrificed my time, my energy, and my sanity to develop a phenomenal business (or 2 or 3) change the culture of both small business and the modeling industry, inspire others to incorporate daily mental health into all they do, and provide the community with valuable tools to open a business or feel better in what they do on a daily basis.
I honestly thought this was THE YEAR I was gonna get an Best of Detroit 1st place.
I was wrong.
They eliminated 2nd and 3rd placings again this year and completely removed the category I was looking forward to most, Community Activist.
So I will go to the big party and wear a phenomenal dress and take pictures and network and take photos next to the 8 CATEGORIES we qualified for.
Because in my eyes, we are the best.
No one had 8 categories with their enterprises, no one. And a secret source told me it was the most in history by any one individual.
I can't compete with million dollar spas and universities and national podcasts and sexist reporters.
But I don't need to.
I hope you continue to invest in my spa, in my networking group, and in me-because I'm going to keep re-investing in everyone else until we all feel like the Best of Detroit.
I don't have imposter syndrome because I'm not one. I'm a poor girl who's dug herself out of the trenches a hundred times and that builds more character and business savvy than anything else in this world.
No fancy degree or generation wealth needed.
