Surround yourself with strong women, women more beautiful than you, smarter than you, and don't envy them, admire them.

Surround yourself with good women who know how to listen, who know how to care, from whom you learn to relate to the world, women who teach you their power.

Surround yourself with women to weave an invisible web, a web for other women, so you don't let them fall, so they feel the collective hug, so they don't feel alone or crazy.

Surround yourself with women who embrace their shadow, who don't apologize for being light, who are aware of their beauty and that they are alive.

Surround yourself with irreverent and brave women, women fighters who open the way and tear down walls, women of reference, women who do not ask for permission, who build their homes with the same hands, with which they cradle and caress.

Energetically, having a sacred space to live in and to work in is important. Prior to our spiritual work including connecting with our guides or loved ones or doing energy work for a client it’s imperative. Objects are not necessary however many practitioners enjoy working with them, particularly items with meaning to the work they are doing.

In preparation, a simple ceremony or meditation enhances the experience and sets the tone of who or what is welcome. You can do something as simple as lighting a candle or incense, as well as cleansing the area with sage, palo santo or sweet grass. I do a clearing meditation and call in my guides and helpers. Depending on the work I am going to do, I may call in the 4 directions. As a Shamanic Practitioner, I enjoy working with the elements, my allies, earth, wind, fire and water.

Ivy is a Soul Coach/Lightworker and Card Reader at MYSTICAL SOUL WORK in Ferndale, Michigan. One of her favorite sayings is “We are all Teachers and We are all Students”! As an Intuitive Practitioner and Mystic she has training in Therapy, Meditation, Mediumship, Shamanic Practices, Chakras, Crystals, Reiki and other Energy Work and Healing modalities as well as Facilitating Groups. Passionate about learning, her studies and practices continue on a regular basis always expanding her “Spiritual Tool Box”.

​With a knowing that there was something deeper and more meaningful yet to embrace, she continued to peel away the layers of the old stories she had been taught, and been living, delving into what she calls her Authentic Self. Ivy now specializes in Women’s Empowerment expanding the love and light she has found within to light the path for other women. In a fun, warm and light way she guides her clients to find their authentic selves, release their old patterns, stories and wounds, and remove masks they may unconsciously be wearing to find true happiness within themselves.
