DK Dental provides optimum care in replacing missing teeth, cosmetic dentistry and implant dental care. Dr. Khalife has built her practice around meeting the personalized needs of patients. She invites you to become familiar with DK Dental through this site and by scheduling a free, no obligation appointment for a comprehensive evaluation. graduated from the University of Michigan where she earned a BS in Biopsychology and Biology before continuing on to study at the New York University College of Dentistry, where she achieved the title of Doctor of Dental Surgery and was honored with a membership in the Aesthetic Honor Society. She was also recognized as the College’s top dental student. Dr. Khalife went on to complete a 2 year residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York where she had intensive training in full mouth rehabillitation, including implant placement and restoration, single and multiple units of fixed prosthodontics, extractions, laser dentistry, and TMJ pain management. Dr. Khalife recently moved back to Michigan and enjoys being able to “give back a smile.”

Dr. Khalife continually strives to advance her dental knowledge and expand her training in cosmetic dentistry, as well as general dentistry, in order to provide top-notch dental care to all of her patients. Thanks to her extensive training and background, Dr. Khalife excels at performing many aesthetic dental treatments, including teeth whitening, dental bonding and placement of porcelain veneers.

Last week we celebrated Tami’s 10-year anniversary working with us at DK! She provides outstanding patient care, is always helpful and informative, and brings genuine compassion to everything she does. From managing the front desk and navigating insurance to supporting the entire team behind the scenes, Tami plays a vital role in our office. We’re so proud of our Sophia! 💙 After 9 years as our dental assistant, she’s officially a registered dental hygienist!! She graduated from Macomb Community College with her associate’s in dental hygiene and began working as our hygienist last week!🦷 She also received the Colgate Star Award — a huge honor that recognizes her compassion, leadership, and commitment to the field 👏
And to top it all off… she recently got engaged to Matthew! 💍 Big year, big milestones, and even bigger things ahead. We’re so lucky to have been part of her journey and ecstatic to see what is to come! Congrats Soph! 🦷💜

Help us congratulate our amazing dental assistant Kiersten on graduating from Michigan State with her Bachelor’s in Human Biology!👩🏼‍🔬🧬You may have seen her around over the years, and you’ll probably be seeing even more of her this upcoming year. Kiersten is currently applying to dental school and has returned to work with us during her gap year. She’s been a part of our team for nearly 6 years, and we’re so excited to have her back.
