Dr. Hill is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his five-year residency in Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Hill spent an additional Fellowship year of training in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania Health System at Pennsylvania Hospital (our nation's first hospital, founded by Benjamin Franklin). He worked under the tutelage of world-renowned hip and knee surgeons Robert Booth, Jr., M.D., David Nazarian, M.D., Jess Lonner, M.D., Hari Bezwada, M.D., and Carl Deirmengian, M.D. Dr. Hill specializes in orthopedic surgery procedures including:
• Anterior approach total hip replacement, the latest minimally invasive technique which has lowest risk of dislocation, leg-length inequality, and limp
• Complex primary total hip and knee replacement
• Total hip and total knee revision surgery
• Arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder
• Partial knee replacement, including patellofemoral and Oxford unicompartmental
• Multi-modal Pain Managem
• Rapid recovery total joint replacement with day-of-surgery ambulationent Protocols resulting in significantly lower pain following surgery
• Fracture care
• Medial Patellofemoral Ligament Reconstruction for Dislocating Patella
