Traumatology Moulage is Detroit's premier resource for medical moulage, casualty simulation, and special effects artistry. Our talented team of professionals are available for trauma practical education classes such as Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Basic Disaster Life Support (BDLS), Advanced Disaster Life Support (ADLS), disaster preparedness drills

including shooter drills, tornado drills, flood drills and other natural disasters, and training exercises of any size or scope. We work with Level 1 Trauma Centers, Local, State, and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, as well as the Military and school districts.

Did you know that Crayola has a warning on their website about not using their products as makeup? Please please please do not use craft or art supplies as makeup for your Halloween costume. Here’s a good rule of thumb: if you can buy it at Office Depot don’t put it on your body. This includes the ever popular and deeply revolting use of glue sticks to block eyebrows. Don’t do it. There are wonderful professional grade products such as Kryolon Eyebrow Plastic that safely do the same job. Do not take advice from unhinged YouTube “tutorials”. I actually saw some that recommend LICKING the glue stick before applying it to the brows. Just…no. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

This is ATLS scenario J, and he is my least favorite scenario. He is hypothermic and cyanotic with petechiae, bruising and abrasions to the chest, and a closed fracture to the femur with pallor to the foot and ankle.
