Baker Theater enjoying The Jungle Book presented by the Missoula Children’s Theater! 🌿🐒 This special performance featured talented local children who brought the classic story to life with energy, music, and plenty of smiles. Residents from Avista Senior Living Ferndale enjoyed a lively visit to the Silver Reef Casino this week! From trying their luck at the slot machines to browsing the gift shop and indulging in some delicious pastries, everyone had a wonderful time. It was a fun-filled afternoon of smiles, excitement, and sweet treats! 💵🛍️🍰

🎉🇺🇸 Parade Fun with Avista Ferndale! 🇺🇸🎉

Our residents had a fantastic time attending the Whatcom Old Settlers Grand Parade this weekend! 🎺🚗🎈 It was a beautiful day full of community spirit, horses, marching bands, colorful floats, and lots of waving and smiling.

We loved being part of this long-standing Ferndale tradition and seeing so many friendly faces along the parade route. Thank you to everyone who helped make this outing so special for our residents! 💙❤️

Our talented residents got creative this week, making beautiful sunflower-inspired floral arrangements to brighten up our building for summer! 🌼🌞 Each bouquet brought a touch of warmth, sunshine, and cheer to our common areas — and a whole lot of smiles too!

We love how these handmade touches make our community feel even more like home. 💛🌻

🌞🍔 Family Dinner BBQ at Avista Ferndale! 🌭🌿

Tonight was a perfect summer evening for our Family Dinner BBQ here at Avista Senior Living Ferndale! We were thrilled to welcome so many wonderful family members who joined us for a delicious meal of hamburgers and hot dogs grilled to perfection by our amazing chef, Chris. 👨‍🍳🔥

The sun was shining, the food was fantastic, and the courtyard was filled with laughter, smiles, and great conversation. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so special. We love creating these meaningful moments with our residents and their loved ones! 💛

🐾🐐🐴 What a wonderful day at Avista Senior Living Ferndale! 🐥🐇💛

Today we had a special visit from Animals as Natural Therapy, and it brought so much joy to our hearts! Our courtyard was full of smiles and gentle animals — we got to spend time with friendly chickens, goats, bunnies, and even a miniature horse named Ziggy! 🐎💕

Residents loved petting, feeding, and simply enjoying the peaceful presence of these sweet animals. It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, calm moments, and great conversation. Thank you to Animals as Natural Therapy for sharing your amazing animals with us — we had the best time!
