The new year has brought with it some news that has rocked my family to the core. My husband went to the ER on NYE for what we thought was gall
Bladder pain. A few short hours later a CT scan would tell us, Cancer. We have an uncertain road ahead as we focus on healing. Treatment. And recovery. I will not be taking new clients in order to focus on my husband and children. ❤️ it is my honor to serve families and I wil miss this work and the babies!!

On December 9th while the snow fell softly outside I gave birth to my 5th child at home next to a cozy fire and Christmas music. It was magical. People aske me all pregnancy, Are you going to have a doula?

Yes.

I had a doula. She was just everything. Here are some rare pics of doula's doing what they do. She supported me along side my husband and also I love the second picture where it shows Carolynn supporting me while my husband attends to other needs of the house, here, building a fire.

She kept me smiling, she could take a punch when needed, she gave me space to welcome my baby and then moved in later and marveled with me at my ordinary miracle. Great shots here of some of the ways we support and ALL of the love for our mama's and sweet babies.
