❄️❄️ Cold Weather & The Body — What You Should Know
When the temperatures drop, our bodies feel it — and so do our animals.
Cold weather can cause:
• Muscles to tighten
• Joints to stiffen
• Decreased circulation
• Old injuries to flare up
• Reduced flexibility and range of motion
When muscles tighten, they pull on joints. When joints don’t move well, compensation patterns start. That’s when we see soreness, changes in posture, reduced performance, or even behavior shifts in our pets.
You might notice:
🐶 Your dog is slower getting up
🐎 Your horse feels stiff at the start of a ride
🙋♀️ You feel tighter in your neck, back, or hips
Movement is medicine — but alignment matters.
Chiropractic care helps restore proper motion, improve circulation, and keep the body functioning the way it was designed to — even in the cold months.
Winter doesn’t have to mean stiff and sore.
If you or your animals are feeling the cold, let’s get you moving comfortably again.
