I haven’t posted in a while. I took a break to find myself again—and part of that is starting a new passion project that can help support my family.y
Last year, I made a balloon arch for my baby shower, and I’ll be making one again for my baby’s first birthday. That’s when the idea hit me: what if I turned this into a hobby that pays?
The only problem? I’ve only done it once. I need practice. I need to learn techniques and build a portfolio so people will actually want to hire me. That means creating several arches and getting hands-on experience—and unfortunately, I don’t have spare money to invest in a new hobby or side gig right now.
The good news is this is something I can do with my little one. He can play with the balloons and keep me company while I build something creative—and maybe even profitable—for both of us.
Today, I’ll be doing readings for donation to help me reach a goal of $140 to purchase the balloon supplies on my Amazon Wish List. I’m working toward a smaller circle arch that I can use indoors (my ceilings are only 8 ft tall i camt use the 21ft arch i used at my shower.), plus a balloon inflator—because over 300 balloons on an arch? My lungs said absolutely not.
Of course ill need balloons! I found the best deal I could on Amazon. It includes 2000 balloons enough to build 8 maybe 9 arches and give me what I need to practice and a solid start for a portfolio.
