Bilateral below knee amputee from a grain elevator accident that was not his fault that left him with both legs being amputated 15 years ago. He’s 79 years old and still puts in 40+ hours of work per week. His last pair of prosthetics served him well, but after five years of use, today he got his new revamped, better fitting, better looking, improved technology prosthetics. He thinks he can work 80 hours a week now :)

With Father’s Day a few days ago, I found this fitting. Shelly is a below knee amputee that lost her father on Father’s Day some years back from throat cancer.  The inspiration of her socket design and moving forward from limb loss is inspired from her father’s battle with throat cancer.

This individual sustained a complete fracture of his radius & ulna requiring surgical repair. Postoperatively I took a cast of his arm & custom fabricated this Muenster splint within a day. This is a perfect fit & he’ll use this during his healing.

Today’s upper extremity prosthetic patient had a work injury. This is common with upper extremity type amputations and she gave permission to post this picture of her unique design, which is her love for outdoors and wildlife.

First patient of the day is Mr. Ramos that gave us permission to post this video. This is his first day being fit with his prosthetic.  He did very well and his wife and him are looking forward to dancing together after a long two years.

A diehard Raiders fan wanted to express his enthusiasm about his favorite team. Even though the Raiders did not make the big dance I found this fitting today being the Super Bowl is on Sunday!

Happy Veterans Day!

We are a veteran owned business that’s been a VA provider for the veterans in our community since 1975. We appreciate the opportunity and understand the responsibility that comes with helping veterans. Findlay painted the water tower years ago to salute veterans. I think this picture is fitting for the day.
