Blanchard Valley Residential Services, Inc.

Blanchard Valley Residential Services, Inc. We are dedicated to encouraging individuals with disabilities to reach their greatest potential (BVRSI).

Blanchard Valley Residential opened our doors as a residential provider in 1976. In June of 2014, we privatized our program from the Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities and became Blanchard Valley Residential Services, Inc. BVRSI is a not-for-profit organization that is operated by a six member board. This transition was largely due to our continual efforts and desire to assist indi

viduals with different ability to live in the residential setting of his or her choice; whether it be in our facility based care or in a more integrated settings in the community. Our goal is to continue to support individuals and their families by providing the same high quality services that they are accustomed to receiving.

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Pam Davidson passed away. Pam will be remembered for her beautiful smile, determination, love for shopping, flea markets, and the county fair. In her free time, she enjoyed working on latch hook rugs that she gifted to family and friends, completing word searches, reading, and playing the game Trouble (which she may have cheated at to win😊). Pam loved her family and showed this by calling them daily to check in on them. Her family meant the world to her. Pam will be missed by all who knew her!

Funeral Visitation will be held at Coldren-Crates in Findlay on Wednesday April 16th 11am-1pm with a Funeral Service following the visitation at the Funeral Home at 1pm.

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Scott Morrison passed away. Scott has been a part of our residential family since 1995. He was loved by so many. Scott will be remembered for his love of playing his speaking spell, Nintendo, and matching games; watching game shows, Looney tunes, Chips, and Soap Operas; singing jingles such as “Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow”, eating his favorite Dorito snacks, McDonalds, and drinking Pepsi; and playing baseball with the Miracle League.
Scott’s Mom was his best advocate whom he loved dearly. He always enjoyed when his Mom read
“Where the Wild Things Are”, and her amazing chocolate chip cookies. For those who knew Scott best, it was an honor to see him move into his own home and live his best life.

He will be truly missed ❤️
