A mom recently came to us because her son's care had plateaued. We'd been working with him for months with such incredible results, so we understood why she was discouraged!! Then we scanned mom. 😮 Her nervous system looked almost identical to her son's initial scans.
That's co-regulation. Your nervous system and your child's are biologically linked.
Your child's nervous system is syncing with yours right now. Through mirror neurons and the autonomic nervous system, their brain reads your breathing, your tension, and your heart rate. How cool is that?!

When your nervous system is regulated, your child has a template to follow. When yours is stuck, theirs gets stuck too. At Clinger Chiro, that's why we always recommend the whole family to get under care, but especially moms when their kiddos start...and we have seen incredible results when they do!

When Burnley first came into our office, she was struggling with significant neck and back tension along with severe reflux. Her parents were dealing with frequent projectile vomiting, difficulty with feeding, and concerns about her weight gain in those early weeks of life. She also showed a strong left-side preference, limited neck mobility, and would often arch her back and neck—making feeding, diaper changes, and even simple daily routines challenging.

Her family’s goals were clear:
✔️ Reduce tension in her neck and back
✔️ Improve her reflux symptoms
✔️ Support healthy weight gain and overall comfort

Since beginning care, Burnley’s progress has been incredible 💛

Her neck and back arching is almost completely gone, her reflux has improved drastically, and she now has full range of motion in her head and neck. So many parents are feeling this way… and first, we want to say this:
You’re doing an incredible job. You’re fighting for your child, and that matters more than anything.

But here’s what most families aren’t told:
It’s not about doing more… it’s about starting with the right foundation.
1️⃣ Your child’s nervous system is the foundation for everything
2️⃣ When it’s dysregulated, everything else becomes harder
3️⃣ When it’s regulated, everything else works better
