Julie A. Taylor

Julie Taylor, 60, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Grant (Linda) Rider, sister, Laurie Rider (Don Sotka); nieces, Lauren (Jeff) Williams, Lindsay (James) Pristov; and great nieces, Autumn, Lily, Ellie, and Rylee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie (Rusty) and Ed Rider.

Julie grew up in North Canton and was a graduate of Hoover High School class of 1983. She graduated from Bowling Green State University and Bluffton University where she attained a Master’s Degree in Education. Julie loved teaching and was a fixture at Riverdale Junior High School for 34 years. Julie didn't just teach--she built a community, turning colleagues into lifelong friends and leaving a lasting mark on her students.

Julie was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church where she enjoyed sharing in small groups and Bible studies. She had a special gift of encouragement, starting a card ministry at the church, which continues to lift people up today. Many still treasure her hand made embossed cards. Julie was known for her kindness, big hugs, and love of life and people and DOGs! She never met a dog that wasn't her friend!

Friends and family may visit from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026 at New Life Assembly of God Church, 3120 Norcrest St., Findlay. A memorial service will be held at the church the following day, Saturday, April 18 at 11:30 a.m. Guests will be received an hour before the service.

Judith Ann Miles, 85, of Van Buren, peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Good Shepard Home in Fostoria.

She was born June 17, 1940, in Marion, Ohio, to Clifford and Genevive (Cowell) Rinnert. Judy married the love of her life, Jerry Miles, on April 3, 1959, and together they recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.

Judy graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1958. Her favorite subject was home economics which she put to good use later in life, raising her family and working in food services. Judy was always a hard worker. She started working in high school at National City Bank in Marion and later worked for a bank in Findlay. She volunteered at the Salvation Army, various committees at Van Buren School, and the Van Buren Centennial. Judy worked as a cook in the Van Buren school system for 15 years until her retirement. Judy was a member of Powell United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and most recently attended Grace Brethren Baptist Church.

In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, going out to eat and traveling. She enjoyed visiting Pennsylvania, went with family members to Myrtle Beach and Disney World and on a few cruises. Judy loved spending time with her family and often said, “I am lucky to have good kids, and I am proud of my family.”

Those left behind to cherish Judy’s memory are her loving husband, Jerry and her four children, Timothy (Deanna), Cynthia, Jason, and Nancy. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jesse (Cassie), Andrew (Becky), Jake (Sierra), Sydney, Nicholas, and Ethan; and six great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Janice (Bill) Probst.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and her son-in-law, Mike Lockard.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Fostoria and the Van Buren United Method Church.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), where a funeral service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gina Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery.

Scott Andrew Jordan, age 56, of North Baltimore, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

He was born December 26, 1969, in Sidney, Ohio, to Jesse and Pamela (Hileman) Jordan. Scott married Kelly Nelson in 1990, and together they shared 35 years of marriage.

Scott was a graduate of Lakota High School and attended Terra Technical College. His hobbies are computers, fixing things, and swimming. He loves his 1996 Mustang.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Kelly; his children, Trevor Jordan, Katelin (Jordan) Cerny, and Brooks Jordan; three beloved grandchildren, Joshua Cerny Jr., Jesse Cerny, and Celeste Cerny; and son-in-law, Joshua Cerny.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; grandparents, Vergil and Emily Hileman; uncle, Steve Heilman, and mother-in-law, Linda Nelson.

William Lloyd McCoy, 51, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Findlay. He was born April 27, 1974, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Robert and Nancy (Clark) Coppler.

William was a graduate of North Baltimore High School. He spent much of his working life as a semi-truck driver, a job he took with great pride. He was also skilled in mechanical work. In his free time, William enjoyed riding motorcycles and embraced the freedom of the open road.

He is survived by his children, Kaylean (Kevin) De La Rosa, Denver Monday, Kamryn Meadows, Corey McCoy, Derek (Chelsea) McCoy, and Daylan Ritter-McCoy; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nancy Coppler, and his brother, Ronnie McCoy.

Anna Marie Patterson, of Findlay, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the age of 55.

She was born October 17, 1970, in Findlay to Roger and Dana (Altman) Patterson.

Anna was a graduate of Findlay High School and spent many years working in retail. She will be remembered as a loving mother, faithful friend, and someone with a bright personality that brought comfort and joy to everyone who knew her.

Above all, Anna’s greatest joy was her daughter, Faith. She cherished every moment spent together, and her love for Faith was constant and unconditional.

Those left behind to cherish Anna’s memory are her mother, Dana of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Faith Johnson; brother, Brian (Jen) Patterson of Woodstock, GA; and her sister, Melodie (Shawn) Vermillion of Findlay, OH.

She was preceded in death by her son, Derek; her father, Roger; and her nephew, Ethan.

Rosa Jane Bensinger, aged 83, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Monday, March 30, 2026.

She was born on May 21, 1942, in Greeley, Colorado, to Ralph C. (Viola) Maxey and Ruby (Kelly) Campbell, both of whom predeceased her.

Rosa devoted much of her professional life to working at RCA/GE/Intersil/Harris Corporation, where she made significant contributions and formed lasting relationships with her colleagues.

Rosa is lovingly remembered by her family, including her daughter and son-in-law, Steve and Cheryl (Bensinger) Winget; grandson, Ryan Blackard; sister, Catherine Wagner; and niece, Julie (Ken) Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert P. “Bud” Bensinger; and daughter, Shelly Marie Bensinger Blackard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bridge Hospice Care Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital, honoring Rosa’s compassion and support for those in need.

Rosa’s life was marked by her dedication to her family and career, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Dean “Dino” L. Muntz, 82, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away March 27, 2026, at Toledo Hospital.

He was born on March 26, 1944, in Kirksville, MO to William and Florence (Compton) Muntz, both deceased. He married Sandra Downey on September 1, 1990, and she preceded him in death.

Dean was a proud member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War and participated in the Honor Flight of November 2022. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Hickerson Excavating for over 30 years.

Sprint car and dirt midget racing, especially the Chili Bowl, was a favorite hobby of Dean’s. He also liked birdwatching, wildlife, and going to Amish country.

Those left behind to cherish Dean’s memory are his children, Brad (Cathy) Muntz of Bonaparte, IA, Todd Muntz of Rawson, Amber (Shawn) Hirt of Findlay, Jennifer (Andrew) Risner of Findlay, Susan (David Yoder) Haugh of Sparks, NV, Cynthia (Shawn Huston) Haugh of Kenton; grandchildren, Heidi, Rileigh, Rachel, Josh, Emily, Ben, Justin (Stacey), Audrey, Chasity (Chase), Jocelyn, Blaine, Liam, Alex; one great-grandchild; and sister, Diane (Tim) Drummond.

Richard D. Smith, of rural Hanock County, went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Richard was born on May 30, 1938, in Taylor County, Iowa, to Fred V. and Arella O. (Garten) Smith. He grew up in southern Iowa and graduated from Clarinda High School in 1956. He married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis McMullen, in January 1957. To this union three sons were born.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Smith of rural Hancock County; sons, Rick (Alya) Smith of Luthersville, GA, Steve (Carmen) Smith of Findlay, Mike Smith of Springfield, IL; sisters, Charlene Ingram of Grinnell, IA, Della Calhoun of Clarinda, IA, Cindy Nardini of Whitehouse TN; grandchildren, Heather (Rob) Smith Bailey of Findlay, Derek (Lauren) Smith of Findlay, Justin Smith of Champaign, IL, Emily Smith of Springfield, IL, and Trey Brown-Sanchez of Springfield, IL.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Arella Smith; two sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.

He had a lengthy career in aviation, starting at Kent State University where he taught flying, and ending at Eastern Airlines as a pilot. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved his family and friends and Bible Fellowship Church.

No funeral will be held at this time. A memorial service is scheduled for May 30 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm, at Bible Fellowship Church, 11906 W. Fellowship Dr., Arlington, OH 45814.

Bonnie Lou Mann, 87, of Findlay, passed onto glory in her final resting place Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Fox Run Manor.

She was born June 21, 1938, in Greenwich, Ohio, to Lawrence and Frances (Crippen) Beckman.

Bonnie attended Findlay High School and later earned her associate degree. She dedicated many years of her life as a respiratory therapist before retiring. Bonnie was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Church in Findlay. She loved caring for animals and enjoyed spending time reading and working on puzzles.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Larry (Jean) Ricksecker of Columbus, Diana (Randy) Quate of Findlay, and Michael (Cindy) Mann of Pinnacle, NC. She was proud of her many grandchildren, Trisha Urban of Columbus, Scott (Samantha) Wilcox of Shapleigh, ME., Amy (Tavo) Calixto of Advance, NC., Brian (Brielle) Siudzinski of Findlay, Amanda Smith of Newark, OH, John (Karla) Dennis of Van Buren, and Sarah Mann of Pinnacle, NC; 11 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. In addition, Bonnie is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David (Patricia) Beckman.

She was preceded in death by both parents; her daughter, Patricia Wilcox, and sister, Shirley Hieshman.

Kaylynn Hart Morris was born sleeping on March 21, 2026, in Tiffin, Oh. Though her time here was brief, she was deeply loved from the very beginning and will forever be held in the hearts of those who awaited her arrival.

Kaylynn is the cherished daughter of Wyatt and Morgann Morris, and the beloved little sister of Nathan Blaine.

She is lovingly remembered by her mimi, Rhonda Rosebrough; papa, Steve; grandma and grandpa, Brenda and Mike Morris; great-grandparents, Roger and Sandy Rosebrough, Julie Friday and Virginia Friday. Kaylynn is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Sebastian Conkle, Kirsten Gardner, and Robin Morris.

Kaylynn is now in the loving arms of her sister, Parklynn Morris; great grandparents, Marti Camper and Charles Friday; and great-great grandparents, Margie Earhart and Delores Tong.

Though Kaylynn never spoke a word or opened her eyes, she filled her family with a love that will last forever. She will always be a part of their story, a quiet but powerful presence in their hearts.

Joan Margaret Billings, 94, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Birchaven.

She was born in Willard, Ohio, on April 23, 1931, to Wilbur and Irene (Dennis) Cook, who preceded her in death. Joan married Richard Billings at Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria, Ohio, on June 23, 1979.

Joan was a 1949 graduate of Bellevue High School. She began her working career as an assistant cashier at Ohio Public Service in Bellevue from 1949 to 1952 before dedicating herself to raising her family. She later returned to work in the same role on a part-time basis for Ohio Edison Company from 1961 to 1966. Joan went on to serve as secretary for St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue from 1967 to 1977. After relocating to Fostoria, she was employed as an administrative assistant for Family Services of Fostoria from 1979 until her retirement in 1995.

Joan was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia. She was actively involved in many areas of church life, including WELCA and Ruth Circle, and served on the Evangelism and Hospitality Committees. She also co-chaired the committee that assembled the 2007 pictorial directory and was a member of the Jet Set.

She loved working on crossword and picture puzzles—often while keeping up with her favorite soap operas. Joan was affectionately known as the “Hallmark Lady” and never missed an important occasion to send a card to family and friends, even in her nineties. She was an avid bowler for many years, participating in several teams and helping organize and run a youth bowling league. Joan also loved music and singing in choirs in high school and church choirs, as well as performing in a trio at various events.

Those left behind to cherish Joan’s memory are her husband, Richard; daughter, Vicki (Jack) Cooper; and son, Tom Schaefer, both of Clyde; step-son, Erik (Myrta) Billings of Sandusky; step-daughter, Kristin (Michael) DeCaro of Lake Elsinore, California; five step-grandchildren, Brett Billings, Ian DeCaro, Koy DeCaro, Sarah Grote, and Brandon Kelderhouse; and five great-grandchildren, Lola, Lucy, Rhys, Madison, and Brayden.

Friends and family may visit from 10 – 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 18974 OH-12, Arcadia, OH 44804. Joan’s funeral service will follow visitation at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Jacinda Jones presiding. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Bellevue City Cemetery.
