💧this new moon window and last bits of Pisces, perhaps you’ve found ways to surrender the old. To recapitulate. To rewrite. To melt. To dissolve to evolve. (I sure have between our new moon cacao circle last night and a powerful journey to the ukhupacha, rewriting some early-life experiences, resetting the timelines)

🌷 the first 80 degree day of the year! and we stepped outdoors, let the sun warm our skin, and put our hands in the dirt. 😌

🌷 the land at the soul sanctuary has awoken and is ready for winter cleanup! and I’m eager to tend to her. 🌿

🌷 stewarding this land is a gift, and continues to teach us a lot. As I gazed upon her sitting in the afternoon sun, I was reminded of the teaching of devotion. A theme that’s been prevalent this week.

🌷 it’ll be 4 years here this month (❕) the excitement of newness has faded, and maintaining and sustaining has become the theme.

🌷 Maybe since I’m a spring baby, I love the burst of energy with the new. So maintenance can be a challenge for me. Our distraction culture helps fuel that exciting newness seeking. Can you relate?

🌷 over the years I’ve learned… when the new fades? Often it’s not time to chase a new dream, but to surrender into devotion.

🌷 devotion is the act of tending…discipline with heart. When the excitement fades, when the mind says “but I just don’t feel like it”, devotion cultivates the inner fire to keep going.

🌷 many of our offerings here are to help you cultivate your own path of devotion.

🌷 so your inner fire burns strong and bright, so you hold steady even when you face challenge. Even when the excitement fades.

🌷to create lasting positive transformation and change, we must cultivate devotion. The timeless wisdom - what does one do before enlightenment? Chop wood, carry water. What does one do after enlightenment? Chop wood carry water.

You are welcome at Inner Nature. Tonight from 6-7pm, drop into a mindfulness meditation practice guided by Tim Hurley.

Meditation helps calm the mind and return to one's center, no matter the turbulence that may be in the outer. As one practices mindfulness meditation, they may notice a decrease in stress, anxiety and depression while an increased capacity to focus, and greater emotional wellbeing. A practice with meditation can increase one's coping skills and contribute to balanced mental health.

🔥 This was the despacho ceremony for Geoffrey’s and my wedding, in 2023. We selected this offering as the opening ceremony for the whole weekend, and it held three intentions. One, to give back to the land. That land held quite a bit, and was thirsty for acknowledgment and love. Two, to bless our community. The family and friends who gathered with us and all their relations. That their prayers were heard and fulfilled. And Three, to bless our union, our marriage. That our Way together be nurtured, our love steadfast through challenge, and that we’d continue spiraling up together. It was beautiful, and magic unfolded over that whole weekend (and not just magic for the happy couple, but blessings for many).

🌳 Despachos are a ceremony that gives back to the Land, Pachamama, for all she provides, and are a way for us to commune with the Divine. Give thanks for all we have, share a request, or set things right, back into balance.

💚 we invite you to Inner Nature this Saturday for a despacho ceremony. come and share your prayers, your love, your thanksgiving. and dont be surprised (though certainly be delighted!) when magic starts flowing in your life again 🤗

Inner Nature 🌳 a third place for you to:

- practice 🌀 maybe that’s a yoga flow. Maybe meditation. Maybe shamanic tools for balance. However we wish to be in our lives…well, cultivating practice gets us there

- connect 💞 with your Source. All faiths are welcome here. Inner nature is rooted in shamanic foundations, and so we often connect to the divine through those pathways. We connect to remember. Remember who we are, who we’re becoming, how we’re meant to live and love.

- be witnessed, and witness 🫂 a community is growing here where we can b e together. Reveal ourselves and be received. Celebrate each other. Hold space for each other. This happens in ceremonies and circles as well as simple potluck gatherings around the fire.

- give and grow 🌳 ayni - as you give so you must receive. As you receive so you must give. The more you connect, commune and practice, the more you grow. You may find yourself giving too - giving to the land that holds you, giving thanks, giving compliments, giving smiles. Being a contribution to the world
