This morning, I had the pleasure of hosting the Before Hours at the Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce office. I brought along a stack of stickers and asked each person to choose one they connected with—and wear it during the meeting. Some even took stickers to adhere to their water bottles, laptop covers, and even their suitcases!

What surprised me was the conversation that followed. People opened up and shared why they chose their sticker, and the meaning behind their choice sparked deeper connections.

In typical fashion, I couldn’t pick just one. I chose two:

✨ “You CAN Do It.” I believe this wholeheartedly—not only for myself but for every person I work with. You CAN make change. You CAN achieve your dreams. You CAN reverse disease. You CAN do [fill in the blank].

✨ “Never forget how wildly capable you are.” This is such a powerful truth. As humans, we often tap into only a fraction of what we’re capable of. I’ve experienced this through the physical feats I’ve accomplished—even when judged or doubted based on how I look. And now, I’m discovering a whole new realm of what I’m capable of through my writing journey.

Week 4: Send Flowers 💐 (For No Reason)
Who says flowers are only for birthdays or apologies? Surprise someone—friend, coworker, or yourself—with a bouquet just because.

✅ Why try it? Because small acts of kindness create BIG ripples. Bonus: the smile you’ll imagine when they receive them? Priceless.

Week 3: Book a Massage 💆♀️
Tension isn’t a trophy—you don’t earn points for carrying stress. Relaxation is a gift you owe yourself.

A massage isn’t just about feeling good; it’s about honoring your body and saying, “Thank you for carrying me through life.”

And let’s be honest—there’s something deeply soothing about the power of touch. Whether it’s a massage or a facial, it’s one of the kindest ways to reset and recharge.

✅ Why try it? Because self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential. Even 30 minutes can melt away stress and clear your mind.

We've made it to our destination a little early so we found a nearby park to take a bit of a break to relax before the fun starts. Although, I will say Kevin is much better at chilling than myself. I'm going to get my book to read a bit.
