Routines feel safer and more meaningful when your kiddo helps create them. ✨
Watch this reel for easy tips on how your child can create their very own visual schedule!
Ready to try it at home? Here’s how to get started:
1. First, grab a sturdy board or piece of cardboard as your base.
2. Next, draw two rows – one for the tasks with pictures, and one to track when each task is done. 3. Choose simple morning tasks like brushing teeth, getting dressed, or eating breakfast.
4. Print or draw pictures for each task, and add clear labels to help with word recognition.
5. Make it interactive by adding flaps or velcro so your child can mark each step as complete.
6. Hang the chart at your child’s eye level so they can use it independently.
7. Finally, reset the chart together each evening to prepare for the next day.
