Five years ago today the MFC was founded! It was a dream to get more relational care into Fishers as there were many individual therapists but very few couples and family providers.

It was a dream to help new therapists learn to start their own practice. It was a dream to have a multidisciplinary team. Lots of dreams on paper during a pandemic where everyone needed a therapist!

It was a dream to grow and five years later, it’s grown! We’re now serving over 1000 families in Fishers clinic wide. We perform over 1000 therapy appointments, dozens of medication appointments and see patients ranging from 2-90.

It’s a dream team of providers, a culmination of almost 30 amazing clinicians and many days and now years of service to our community. Thank you Fishers for supporting this dream and small business!

We’re so excited to introduce Lauren, a clinical mental health counseling intern who brings heart, wisdom, and real-world experience into the therapy room.

Lauren has a background in psychology, corporate life, and years of teaching, so she deeply understands the pressures of performance, the weight of responsibility, and the heartbreak of burnout. She also has a special place in her heart for those walking through seasons of grief whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, entering a new season of life or simply mourning the life you thought you’d have by now.

Lauren believes healing happens when we tend to the whole person: your thoughts, your body, your story, and your soul. Her approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based tools like CBT, solution-focused work, and client-centered care.

If you’re navigating a hard season, Lauren would be honored to walk alongside you.

We’ve had a fun week of OT Camp put on by Sensory MVP! Our whole office loves helping out and seeing all the kids do new and exciting activities together. We focus on:

👧🏼 social skills
👂🏻 listening skills
😢 emotional regulation skills
👅 feeding and trying new foods
❤️ cooperation
🏃‍♀️ Body Awareness
