Girl Scout Troop 472 Brings Joy and Tradition to Lake Meadows Community. Lake Meadows is proud to recognize the ongoing partnership with Girl Scout Troop 472 of Fishers, Indiana. For the past two years, these dedicated second-grade scouts—along with their siblings—have brought energy, kindness, and joy to the campus through their continued involvement in community events. Led by Troop Leader Laura, the girls actively participate in seasonal celebrations, including the much-anticipated Safari Easter event, selling of course Girl Scout cookies. One of their favorite activities is hiding Easter eggs throughout the grounds, creating a fun and engaging experience for residents. This year they had 3600 Easter eggs. No one went home empty-handed. Six golden eggs with amazing prizes. The presence of Troop 472 not only adds excitement but also sparks meaningful moments for residents, many of whom fondly recall doing the same with their own children years ago. Watching the scouts run around, laughing and searching for the perfect hiding spots, brings a sense of nostalgia and connection that truly enriches the community.

Lake Meadows hosts Spectacular Easter Brunch Thanks to Exceptional Culinary Team in Fishers. We proudly celebrates its incredible culinary team for delivering an unforgettable Easter brunch experience this year. With creativity, dedication, and true passion, the staff went above and beyond to prepare a stunning event that brought joy to all in attendance. From beautifully crafted food displays and colorful, flower-inspired presentations to the addition of a festive mimosa bar, every detail reflected excellence. Guests were treated to a remarkable menu that included pancakes, sausage, waffles, fried chicken, danishes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, roasted beef, glazed ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, glazed carrots, dinner rolls, spring salad, deviled eggs, carrot cake, chocolate cream pie, a variety of cheesecakes, and fresh fruit cups. The team prepared enough to serve over 300 guests, showcasing both their skill and commitment. Hosted at the helm of Chef Neveen, the brunch was not only a meal but a memorable celebration of togetherness and hospitality. Lake Meadows extends its heartfelt appreciation to Chef Neveen and the entire culinary staff for their hard work, creativity, and dedication to making this Easter event truly exceptional.

Lake Meadows is growing butterflies! 🐛🦋 We started with tiny larvae, and look at them now! 🐛➡️🦋 After a couple of weeks, they’ve formed their cocoons and are now safely in their enclosure. The full process takes about four weeks, and we’re so excited to watch them transform into beautiful butterflies. Just in time for Earth Day next month, it’s a wonderful reminder of growth, change, and bringing new life into the world. We can’t wait to see what else we can grow and nurture together! 🌱

From everyday essentials to a few special treats, it’s all here and easy to access. We love getting out together and making the most of it!

Behind the scenes, our amazing team has been hard at work preparing for our Bake & Craft Sale this Sunday, March 22! 🍰✨ From delicious homemade cakes, cookies, and cake pops to beautiful spring and Easter décor, there’s something special for everyone. We also want to give a warm welcome back to Barb and Mike from Florida! ☀️💐 You’ve truly been missed. Your dedication and volunteer spirit are such a gift to our community and a true asset to the activities department. Gene and Ed are working their magic on the beautiful Easter lilies, making sure everything is perfect just in time for brunch. 🌸✨ The arrangements are absolutely gorgeous and truly capture the spirit of the season. We are so lucky to have such talent bringing these special touches to life!

🎶 Today’s Entertainer Spotlight 🎶 We were honored to welcome Priyanka Gohal, an accomplished harpist with international training and recognition. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, she has performed with prestigious orchestras and continues her studies at Indiana University. Priyanka brings a unique and beautiful blend of classical, jazz, folk, and Indian influences to her music. Her passion, talent, and artistry made today’s performance truly unforgettable!

Our Favorite Monthly Activity 🎶 We always look forward to welcoming Lisa and her bongo drums—it’s truly one of our favorite monthly traditions! The energy, the rhythm, and the joy of making music together creates such a special experience for everyone involved. We love the freedom of our solo piece, where we can express ourselves and perform in our own unique ways. There’s no right or wrong—just the beauty of music bringing us together. Monthly Volunteer Efforts Strengthen Community Partnership with Good Samaritan Network. Each month, we dedicate two hours to hands-on volunteer work, and today was no exception. From sorting clothing and shoes to organizing toys and essential items, our group eagerly stepped in to help wherever needed. No task is too big or too small when it comes to supporting those in our community. This ongoing commitment reflects our passion for making a difference and giving back. The experience not only allows us to provide practical support, but also offers a rewarding opportunity to see firsthand the impact of our efforts. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and look forward to continuing our work together. Through teamwork and service, we are helping build a stronger, more connected community—one month at a time.
