High-detail B-Mode imaging plays a central role in ultrasound examinations of exotic and unconventional animals, where anatomical diversity and small patient size require exceptional image clarity.

Accurate visualization of tissue interfaces and subtle structural changes is essential for early and reliable diagnosis.

Microvascular imaging with microV supports the assessment of minute blood flow and organ perfusion, while QPack enables quantitative evaluation to standardize monitoring over time.

🔍 Meet the Expert | Case 1 – 2026 Edition
We open the 2026 season of the Meet the Expert series with a clinically relevant and challenging case: mammary intraductal carcinoma in a canine patient.

A 12-year-old neutered female Siberian Husky presented with a progressively enlarging subcutaneous mass in the right inguinal region, adjacent to the mammary gland. Clinical examination revealed a firm, mobile, irregular lesion of approximately 6 cm, with no significant abnormalities in bloodwork.

🩺 In this episode, Chiara Donà, DVM, PhD, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Milan (Italy), explores how imaging plays a key role in supporting diagnostic assessment and clinical decision-making in complex oncological cases.
