📣 Augusta Health Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is offering free prostate cancer screening for men on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 5 p.m.

Screening includes a PSA blood test and an optional DRE exam.

Open to:
• Men not currently seeing a urologist
• Men age 55 and older
• African American men age 45 and older
• Any man age 45 and older with a family history of prostate cancer

Boil Water Advisory Guidance:

Boil water for: drinking, brushing teeth, washing produce, preparing food, mixing baby formula, making ice, giving water to pets, coffee makers.
Use caution: water filters in most kitchens and households do not remove bacteria or viruses. Bathing babes and young children - give a sponge bath, using boiled water that has cooled).
DO NOT need boiled water for washing clothes in washing machine, taking showers (do not drink!), flushing toilets, dishwasher using sanitize setting.
How to Boil water during advisory: Allow water to boil at a rolling boil for 1 minute.
