21+ to view. My name is Jason Mecler, and I am a dedicated cannabis and hemp product developer and educator. My journey into this field began out of necessity when traditional medicine failed to address my health challenges. Diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ankylosing spondylitis, and a double mutation of the MTHFR gene, I struggled with debilitating symptoms, including chronic pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, and mental health challenges. These illnesses profoundly impacted my life, but cannabis became a turning point in my healing journey. Through its use, I found relief, managed most of my symptoms, and reduced my reliance on pain medications. This personal transformation led me to explore the cannabis industry further, initially for my own healing. However, as I shared my products with others, I discovered their potential to help those grappling with similar health issues. What began as a personal quest evolved into a mission to provide relief and hope to others. My education in cannabis medicine is rooted in the work and research of industry pioneers such as Max Montrose (Trichome Institute), Dr. Ethan Russo, Jorge Cervantes, and Raphael Mechoulam, among others. Their knowledge has guided my understanding and approach to developing effective and reliable products. With the encouragement of my wife and others who believed in my vision, we launched Cosmec Healing. As a small, family-owned business, our goal is to educate, empower, and provide products that truly make a difference. Every ingredient we use is of the highest quality, organic whenever possible, and in full compliance with federal hemp laws. Additionally, all our terpenes and cannabinoids undergo rigorous third-party testing to ensure safety and effectiveness. While cannabis medicine may not be the right fit for everyone, our high success rate inspires us to continue helping people find relief. We are really excited about Night Shift because this formula was built with real intention behind it.

Had the privilege of spending some time with Damian and the team at in Bel Air. I never turn down a chance to connect with good people in this industry and learn something new, and this visit delivered on both.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell the level of care that goes into everything they do. The facility is top notch, incredibly clean, and everything is handled with intention, from process to documentation. It’s always inspiring to see that kind of attention to detail.

Damian was great to talk with. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his craft.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate, happy Sunday to all that don't. Got some work in, orders out, hosted my mom for a great weekend and even got to watch some dolphins from the Cosmec Healing office. Definitely blessed.

Was going through some old files today and came across this menu… instantly took me back to this night.

About 8 years ago, we had the opportunity to host a private, high end infused dinner for a small group of clients, and it’s still one of those experiences I’ll never forget.

This is the actual menu from that night.

We brought in an incredible chef who designed and executed every course with intention. The centerpiece was A5 Japanese Wagyu, with paperwork from Japan that was honestly about an inch thick, one of those cuts that costs thousands and lives up to it.

Each course was thoughtfully paired, and I worked closely with guests beforehand to tailor the experience to their preferences. Everything was approached with care, pacing, and respect for the moment.

We crafted infused mocktails, paid attention to every detail, and delivered a full white glove style experience from start to finish.

At the time, options in Maryland were limited, we were working with some of the only concentrates available back then. I don’t even think one of the other processors we sourced from is around anymore.

No hype, no shortcuts, just intention, quality ingredients, and a focus on creating something memorable.

What’s really cool now is seeing experiences like this starting to happen more out in the open. Back then, this kind of night was rare and taboo.

Looking back, I feel lucky to have been trusted and involved in this space for as long as I have. Moments like that helped shape how I think about formulation, experience, and attention to detail to this day.

Real ones know… it’s always been about the details.

For a long time, a lot of people looked at this industry and only saw stigma. They heard the old labels, made assumptions, and never stopped to think about the people whose lives could actually be changed by it.

At one point, I found myself asking a bigger question: could I carve out a real place in this industry and turn it into something meaningful? Something that could help people, create opportunity, and become more than what others assumed it was?

That question turned into a mission.

What started as curiosity and belief became a real career, real purpose, and real products that I’m proud of. Watching something so misunderstood become something that can truly impact lives has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Cosmec Healing is more than a brand to me. It’s proof that sometimes the things people dismiss too quickly end up becoming the very thing that changes lives.
