Our Story

In the early years of the town of Fisk, the Shain family operated the funeral home. The Shelby family later operated the funeral home until 1950 when J.C. “Carl” White purchased it and the name was changed to White’s Funeral Home. In 1967, Carl and his wife Onedia built a new facility, which continues to serve the community at the present location.

In February of 1975 after graduating from mortuary school, Jim Sanders came to work at the funeral home. Upon the retirement of Carl and Onedia in 1976, Mr. Sanders purchased the funeral home where he and his family have continued to care for families in Butler County and the surrounding areas. In 1981, we opened our Qulin facility to better serve the area.
