Warm Coats and essentials needed! CHC and the Fitchburg Police Department are collecting clean gently used warm coats, boots, and cold weather essentials: socks, gloves and hats, for our homeless and in-need community members on Saturday, November 1st at the ACTION Community Health & Urgent Care Center, 130 Water Street (Central Plaza, next to Crunch Fitness) from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Meet the dental residents! Join CHC in welcoming Dr. Abdulsalam Kassis and Dr. Yousef Hassan from the New York University Postdoctoral Dental Residency Program. Both Dr. Kassis and Dr. Hassan will be in residence at CHC for the next year. CHC is proud to have this residency partnership with NYU and offer the dental rotation at our Community Health Center. On behalf of the 45,000 patients Community Health Connections currently serves, we extend our deepest gratitude to our legislators for their support and passage of H.4530, which includes $35 million in financial relief for the state’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
