In September, we were truly grateful to participate in the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia at McGaw Park in Fitchburg. It was amazing to see the growth of this event and the deep passion and support that this year’s participants brought with them. Dr. Piquette delivered a heartfelt and informative speech, sharing her experiences as an OB/GYN provider. She addressed the impact of Preeclampsia in the Madison area, emphasizing the importance of recognizing its signs and symptoms. Following Dr. Piquette’s speech, Mission Mom Erika shared her own experiences and journey with Preeclampsia. She talked about the challenges, emotions, and critical moments that she faced in multiple pregnancies, shedding light on the reality of how much Preeclampsia can affect a pregnancy and an entire family. Events like this are not just fundraisers, but also extremely important for raising awareness for a condition that impacts many families. We hope to see even more faces at next year's walk 💕

Thank you to all (staff, patients, and volunteers) who joined us with Carol Aspinwall and the Period Product Pantry News for a period product packing party on Tuesday night! With donations from the community, for the community, we had 608 tampons for about 30 tampon packets and 1,356 pads for almost 70 pad packets!

Physicians for Women is honored to be the physical “pantry” location for the Period Product Pantry and to host packing events every other month.

Keep an eye on our social media and clinic signage to stay updated on details for our next event.

We will also have a donation table for products located in our waiting area, should you desire to contribute products to our next event.

Together we can keep periods POSITIVE ❤️🌹🥰
