🥪 On Wednesday, Business Development Director Bill O'Connor, with help from the Fitchburg Police Department Community Outreach Team, made and served breakfast sandwiches to 40 local seniors at the Fitchburg Council On Aging. It was a great turnout even with the single-digit temperatures. 🌡️

😁 Did you know that January 13th was Rubber Ducky Day? 🫧 Well, we did, and in recognition of this great day we painted Rubber Ducks for a Cause.

🦆 The Highlands is proud to share that our Rubber Duck Parade is here and set up in our front lobby. We welcome one and all to select a duck to bid on in our silent auction. All bidding starts at $5.00. The highest bidders for each duck will be contacted on January 27. All proceeds will benefit the Sterling Shelter animal shelter. 🐾 We also have a dog and cat food donation box at our duck parade if you want to donate dry pet food or wet pet food.

We are so excited for the Ducks to arrive! 🦆 Residents will be putting their own artistic touch on the traditional yellow rubber duck. Rubber ducks will then be auctioned off through a silent bidding auction. All proceeds will be donated to the Sterling Animal Shelter. We will also be hosting a pet food drive as part of this event. 🐾 Don't forget: soon there will be ducks crossing! 😉
