Make sure to follow the ABC's of Safe Baby Sleep:

Alone - Babies should be put in their crib alone, with no other people or objects.

Back - Babies should be laid down to sleep on their back, not on their side or belly.

Crib - Babies should be put to sleep in a standard Crib, Bassinet, or Playpen that is designed for babies.
