Here are some coping strategies that others have found helpful in dealing with the fear and anxiety of losing something they love:

- Practice mindfulness and live in the present moment. When the worrying thoughts creep in, gently bring your attention back to the here and now. Focus on your senses and what’s happening around you.

- Express gratitude regularly. Make a habit of reflecting on what you’re thankful for, whether through journaling, saying it out loud, or sharing with loved ones. This helps shift the mindset away from fear.

- Challenge catastrophic thinking. When your mind goes to the worst-case scenario, ask yourself: “What is the evidence for and against this happening?” Try to bring more rational perspective.

- Limit rumination. Set a timer for 10-15 minutes when you need to worry, then move on with your day. Don’t allow the anxious thoughts to consume you.

- Engage in calming activities. Things like deep breathing, meditation, gentle exercise, or creative hobbies can help soothe the nervous system.

- Talk it out. Confide in trusted friends or family, or consider working with a therapist who can provide professional support. Verbalizing the fear can take away some of its power.

- Make a plan. If there are steps you can take to prepare for potential loss, that can provide a sense of control and alleviate some of the anxiety.

The key is finding healthy coping mechanisms that work for you as an individual. With time and practice, you can learn to manage the fear and appreciate the present moment. Remember, you’re not alone in this struggle.♥️

Food is Medicine 🍎🥕

We often think of medicine as pills or injections, but the food we eat can also be a powerful form of natural healing and prevention. Certain nutrients, herbs, and other compounds in whole, unprocessed foods have potent medicinal properties.

For example, turmeric is a spice with strong anti-inflammatory effects, ginger can soothe digestive issues, berries are packed with antioxidants to fight free radicals, and leafy greens provide vital vitamins and minerals.

Treating food as medicine means making nutritious, whole food choices to nourish our bodies and support our overall health. It’s an empowering way to take control of our wellbeing through the foods we consume every day.

If you built a house 🏠 on a sandy beach 🏝 without first putting concrete footings into the sand, the house would become unstable and eventually sink into the sand and fall apart. This is what happens to your body when you don’t learn how to utilize your feet properly. You don’t have a stable base to support your knees, hips, back, torso, and all the way up to the neck.

Hence, learning how to spread your toes and grip the ground is going to help: reduce foot pain✔️, ankle pain✔️, shin pain✔️, knee pain✔️, and hip pain✔️ (and one imbalance often leads to another, so the list continues).

Don’t have pain❓It’s still going to help you generate 💥 power 💥 in your movements, whether you’re an olympic lifter 🏋️‍♀️, a runner🏃‍♂️, or WHATEVER it is you’re doing in your life 🏄‍♂️⛹️‍♀️🧗 ⛷🚶because it creates stability with the ground. Logic.

Balance all starts from the ground 🙌. Just think💭 : the bigger the base, the better the balance.
