Most people picture something dramatic when they hear the phrase “out of alignment.”

Like a bone being visibly out of place or something seriously wrong.

In reality, most of the time it simply means a joint isn’t moving as well as it should.

Joints are designed to move in many directions. When that motion becomes restricted — whether from sitting, stress, repetitive movements, old injuries, or everyday wear and tear — your body adapts.

Usually the first thing that happens is muscles tighten to protect the area.
Then you might notice:
• Stiffness when you turn your head
• Tightness in your shoulders
• A back that feels “stuck”
• A spot that always feels sore
• Less mobility than you used to have

That’s often what people are feeling when they say they feel “out of alignment.”

Not something dramatic.
Just joints that need to move better and muscles that have been working too hard for too long.

Chiropractic adjustments help restore motion to joints that have become restricted so the surrounding muscles don’t have to compensate as much.
When joints move better, the body usually feels better.

Are you struggling with pain while breastfeeding?

When you’re hunched over for every feed - shoulders rounded, neck craned down, upper back curved forward - you’re creating:
-Massive tension in your neck, shoulders, and upper back
-Rib stress and tension that restricts breathing and positioning
-Spinal stress that affects your nervous system’s ability to relax (which you need for letdown)

The posture mistakes most moms make:
❌ Leaning down to baby instead of bringing baby up to breast
❌ Hunching shoulders forward
❌ Craning neck to watch the latch
❌ No back support
❌ Arms unsupported (holding baby’s full weight)

What proper positioning looks like:
✓ Bring baby TO your breast (use pillows to elevate)
✓ Shoulders relaxed and back
✓ Lumbar support behind lower back
✓ Head neutral (not constantly looking down)
✓ Arms supported on pillows or armrests
