The Navajo Code Talkers were members of the United States Marine Corps during World War II who used their native language to create an unbreakable code so the U.S. military could transmit secure messages.

The code was developed by a group of 29 Navajo men, but by the end of the war, more than 400 Navajo service members served as code talkers. Often, this group is credited for the critical role they played in the victories of many key battles.

Thank you all for your service and sacrifices to our country.
