Our weekend trip to Lake Havasu was equal parts challenge and reward. After navigating rain washouts and carrying gear down to camp, we settled in with burgers, hotdogs, and a well-earned campfire.
Saturday brought a 7-mile hike at Sara Park — hot, tough, and worth every step. We wrapped up the day with camp games and a big spaghetti dinner back at camp.
On Sunday, we headed to Cattail Cove for another hike, some time by the water, and a much-appreciated hot shower before making the trip home.
Trips like this build more than memories — they build resilience, teamwork, and confidence. Pushing through obstacles together and sharing the wins afterward is what makes these weekends meaningful.
