Root Chakra Recipe: Beetroot and Ginger Soup
This soup grounds you, making you feel stable and secure. The earthy beetroot and spicy ginger, both root foods, are ideal for the Root Chakra.
Ingredients:
● 2 large beetroots
● 1-inch fresh ginger
● 1 onion
● 2 cloves of garlic
● salt and pepper to taste
● a dollop of Greek yogurt (optional)
Peel and chop the beetroots and onion. Grate the ginger and crush the garlic. In a pot, sauté the onion, ginger, and garlic until the onion is translucent. Add the beetroot and enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the beetroot is tender. Blend until smooth, season with salt and pepper, and serve with some Greek yogurt, if desired.
