Health First Foundation Northern Arizona

Health First Foundation is dedicated to improving health and well-being in our region. We are a 501(c)(3) public charity.

We believe every person has the right to live their happiest, healthiest self. Our focus at Health First Foundation is to nurture opportunities that make this possible. In doing so, we increase the positive impact on health in our region, especially for our most vulnerable populations. With the ever-changing landscape of health and care, we see countless inspiring examples of individuals and nonprofit organizations in our local communities collaborating to enrich the lives of others in the places we call home. Community builders at heart, we are passionate about connecting people with impact. Here’s a snapshot of what we do:

Grants — connecting local community organizations to new tools and resources through our grantmaking program. Giving — connecting people with purposeful opportunities to make a difference. Special Events — connecting the general public to worthy causes.

Social determinants of health are the pillars that play a giant role in whether you and your community can live their healthiest lives!

At Health First Northern Arizona, we’re looking at the bigger picture: economic stability, education opportunities, access to care, supportive communities, and safe housing and transportation

Because when these needs are met, our community can thrive!

Smiles change lives😁 That is why we were happy to support the good people who run Northern Arizona Dental Days with a grant for new dental equipment and a mobile trailer!

We must give a big thank you for their incredible work. Because of them, adults who struggle to receive affordable dental care across Northern Arizona are finally gaining access to no-cost treatment!

We are happy to support Polara Health! Cyndi Brown, Foundation Director, and Polara Health CEO Tamara Player are pictured with the Health First Foundation grant check. The funds will go toward Polara's Whole Person Care programs for youth.
