Oasis Dental Care

Oasis Dental Care Dentist My name is Dr. Tyler Garrett. I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to take over for Dr. Dan Rodda at Oasis Dental Care.

My family and I are so excited to be living in Flagstaff, AZ and be a part of this community. My wonderful wife, Whitney, and I have three great kids; Sage, Cole, and Branch. I graduated from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ in 2013. Upon earning my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, I began an 8-year career in the United States Air Force reaching the rank of Major. During my years in the US Air Force, my family and I were stationed in Georgia, Hawaii, and in North Dakota where I served as the 5th Operational Medicine Readiness Squadron’s Dental Flight Commander. Serving in the Air Force and caring for the Airmen who serve and protect our country was a great honor. It provided me many amazing opportunities that I will always be grateful for. I have continued my training by attending multiple advanced dental education classes. To date, these include courses and hands on training in oral surgery, same-day digital dentistry, and TMJ/Jaw disorders. As a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry, I am dedicated to learning and knowing about the latest and greatest advances in technique and technology to provide the best dentistry possible. I believe in giving back to the community and have participated in multiple community dental events and humanitarian trips to provide dental services in downtown Phoenix, Tijuana, Mexico, and on the Pacific island of Vanuatu. I love what I do and enjoy creating a caring and compassionate environment for patients to receive the excellent dental care they deserve. My family is of utmost importance to me, and I truly view my patients as part of that family. I want Oasis Dental Care to be a place where you feel cared for and valued. It's important to me to work one-on-one with each patient in order to understand your needs and desires. I also feel that it is important to take the time to explain what is entailed in dental procedures and why they are necessary so that you can leave each visit feeling confident and informed. It is my philosophy that healthy teeth is an essential part of a healthy life. While I offer general, family, cosmetic, preventative, and restorative dentistry, your treatment will always be focused on increasing your overall health and quality of life. I strive to cultivate long lasting relationships and life long smiles. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy everything sports and outdoor activities including golf, fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring with my family. I truly look forward to meeting you and providing you and your family with high-quality, personalized dental care. Dr. Tyler Garrett, DMD

Our Story

My name is Dr. Daniel Rodda. I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to take over for Dr. Frank Olivas at Oasis Dental Care. I was born in northern Indiana and spent most of my formative years in upstate New York after my family moved there when I was twelve. I went to college and Dental School at The State University of New York at Buffalo. There I met my fiancee Maria, who at the time was attending law school, also at S.U.N.Y. Buffalo. After graduation, I completed a General Practice Residency at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. There I gained experience in many surgical and restorative procedures, along with I.V. sedation training. We moved back to upstate New York for several years. There, I ran a general dental practice as a solo practitioner. During that time I took an immense amount of continuing education courses. One of them was the Implantology Continuum at Columbia University in Manhattan. We integrated implants and grafting into the practice, along with many other specialty, cosmetic, and laser procedures. I went on to achieve a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantology. I was also awarded a Fellowship by the Academy of General Dentistry. My fiancee and I had traveled through Flagstaff several times while visiting out west. When I came across the opportunity to take over for Dr. Olivas, we jumped on it! Flagstaff is an amazing community with so much to do, and the people are so nice. We feel very fortunate to be able to call Flagstaff our new home. I am truly passionate about my work and enjoy creating a caring and compassionate environment for patients to receive the excellent dental care they deserve. My philosophy is to work one-on-one with each patient. I believe in taking time to truly understand your individual needs and goals. I also feel that it is important to take the time to explain what is entailed in dental procedures and why they are necessary. While I offer general, family, cosmetic, preventative, and restorative dentistry, your treatment will always be focused on increasing your overall health and quality of life. In addition, each year I continue to take many courses in continuing education to provide my patients with cutting-edge dentistry treatments and technologies. I want to give my patients the very best smile and oral health possible! Outside the office, I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and cooking. I even make my own beef jerky. Ask me about it! I truly look forward to meeting you and providing you and your family with high-quality, personalized dental care. Sincerely, Dan Rodda, DDS Fellow International Congress of Oral Implantology Fellow Academy of General Dentistry
