Last weekend, our incredible dental team volunteered their time and expertise at Dental Days! 🦷💙

This impactful community event provides no-cost dental care, including preventive, surgical, and restorative services, to vulnerable adults in Coconino County. Dental Days is helping our community move away from emergency dental visits and toward regular, preventive care that keeps smiles healthy.

We’re so proud of our team for giving back and helping create healthier smiles across northern Arizona!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! 💟
Twice each year, Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona hosts our end-of-season 5K celebrations (one in Flagstaff and one in Camp Verde) and they are truly the highlight of our program! These events are not just runs; they are powerful celebrations of confidence, courage, and community.

Each girl trains for 10 weeks, building confidence, strength, and friendships. Crossing that finish line is a huge triumph, and the joy is contagious!

Come be part of the fun! Whether you run, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, your energy helps make the day magical.

🌲Flagstaff 5K Celebration🌲
Location: Buffalo Park
Date: Saturday, November 1
Arrival: 11:15 AM | Run Start: 12:00 PM
This non-competitive, party-style run is filled with sparkle, smiles, and spirit stations! While we have plenty of volunteer support for this event, anyone is welcome to join the fun by registering to run alongside our GOTR participants.

North Country HealthCare is partnering with a group of NAU Public Health students, who have organized a community diaper drive as part of their Capstone experience! North Country’s Fourth Street clinic and Flagstaff Pediatrics will be equipped with donation boxes into the beginning of November, and there are 2 more engaging opportunities coming up to drop a donation at a community event! Join us at:

• Community Health Fair, Oct 31 (8AM-1PM)
• Heritage Square, Nov 2 (10AM-2PM)

We are proud to collaborate with local students and provide them with the resources and guidance needed to further connect with the community around them. If you would like to make an online donation, scan the QR code on one of these student-created flyers!

Candice Lewis, RESEP Patient Navigator, represented North Country HealthCare at the 2025 RECA Bill and Downwinders Educational Seminar!

She spoke about updates on the newly added New Mexico regions covered under the RECA reauthorization and presented on North Country HealthCare’s role in supporting affected communities.

Candice walked attendees through the bill’s history, eligibility criteria, and claims process, and provided direct assistance to individuals and families who may qualify. With around 250 people in attendance, her presentation and Q&A session helped clarify next steps for those seeking compensation and support.
