North Country HealthCare is a federally qualified community health center that provides high-quality, comprehensive medical services throughout northern AZ.

North Country HealthCare is thrilled to announce the accreditation of a new Psychiatry Residency Program in northern Arizona! This four-year program will train psychiatrists to serve the unique needs of northern Arizona communities.

The first class of psychiatry residents is currently planned to start in July of 2027. As we prepare for the program next year, more information will be shared for interested medical students. Stay tuned!

CPCHP recently wrapped up two successful rural community immersions earlier this month. The Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholars program is a two‑year initiative that gives health professions students hands‑on experience and a deeper understanding of the social determinants of health that impact vulnerable and underserved communities.

Our first‑year AHEC Scholars group spent the weekend learning from local community resource organizations, including a tour of Flagstaff Medical Center and Hope Cottage.

Our second‑year group completed their final immersion weekend by hosting a health fair in Winslow, AZ and shared education on healthy eating and exercise.
