Thanks to Nivolumab With or Without Ipilimumab in Treating Younger Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Solid Tumors or Sarcomas, a Phase 1 Immunotherapy Clinical Trial (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/results/NCT02304458?term=immunotherapy&cond=Ewings+Sarcoma&draw=3&rank=15), Madeline conquered Ewing's Sarcoma.
The trial record was posted last week, Thursday, January 13, 2023, ironically the day before Friday, the 13th. I am reflecting as I ride the Pan-Mass Challenge for the seventh time to help continue clinical trials when all available options for treatment fail.
Reviewing the results, there are eight arms/group titles, and only one person of the 130 completed the trial. I need to go back and review her file, which is larger than a couple reams of paper, to see which group was Madeline's. Also, I might need a researcher/doctor to help me decipher the results and review the file.
Long story short, Madeline is cancer free, and it is because of Innovative Cancer Research. We must continue to fund research because it may save someone you love life.
