Dr. Kathryn has been a patient of Dr. John's for 14 years and his chiropractor for the last 2 years.

Dr. John is happy to be leaving his patients in great hands with Dr. Kathryn.

It is easy for children and sponsors to meaningfully communicate with one another through TeachBeyond’s Child Sponsorship Program! Letter exchanges on the sponsorship dashboard are an amazing way for children to feel seen, known, and loved. Here is what one child recently wrote to her sponsor:

“Good day to you. How are you doing in [your] town? How is your pet dog doing? I would like to thank you for the letter you have written to me. I would like to learn so much in school. The fact that God cherishes children is evident throughout scripture. Jesus even encouraged adults to become like little children in their faith! Sadly, many children around the world are forced to grow up too fast because of circumstances beyond their control, robbing them of their childhood. Thankfully, we serve a God who is redeeming and restoring all things! Read this story from Heidi, the Director of HopeSeed School in Ecuador, of how Gabriela* blossomed into the person God created her to be:

When Gabriela joined our school, she was quiet and disoriented. Because of her background, she was always pressured to act older than her age, which left her feeling uncertain about her identity. Understandably, it took her some time to adjust to our school, but within the first week, we began to see positive change. She began to play with other children, engage in activities like tag, and form friendships free from forced expectations.

We're thrilled to welcome FATEB Kinshasa Academy (FKA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo to our Child Sponsorship Program! Beginning with only 9 students in 2015, FKA is TeachBeyond’s first African owned, managed, and staffed school. Now there are over 160 students! The director, Fima, and the other staff at FKA desire to help students know God personally so their faith will shine brightly in the community where they live.

Many parents in this area, especially single moms, can't afford to send their children to a school where they will receive a quality education. To meet this need, FKA is partnering with TeachBeyond's Child Sponsorship Program to enable more children in the community to not only receive a good education, but a truly transformational education. They're hoping to find sponsors for 31 kids this school year - $35/month can make a big difference! Fima thanks God for all those who will sponsor a student at FKA!

Even when things don’t make sense to us, God is still at work! Read this funny and uplifting story from HopeSeed School in Ecuador about how God used a text-message mix-up to bring hope and joy to an entire family!

One day, Heidi, the director of HopeSeed School, was conducting an interview in hopes of hiring a new teacher to accommodate the school’s growth. Initially, the interviewee seemed very confused, exclaiming, “But this is a school!”. Heidi was now equally confused because of this statement of the obvious. After inquiring more, Heidi discovered that the lady had mistaken their school for a cell phone store because of a mix-up on a text message group. She was prepared for a job interview that day, but certainly not for a teaching position!
