The Michigan Memorial Park Walking Club is back! 🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️

Come enjoy a calm, refreshing place to get moving. Take in the park, start a simple routine, and meet new people as you go.

✅ It’s FREE to join if you’re 18 or older.

✅ Everyone is welcome, including the public and Michigan Memorial employees.

✅ We use the honor system, so please walk only during the Park’s posted hours.

If you’d like to join, just visit the Family Service Office during open hours. You can pick up an application, get a map, and find out about this year’s rewards. 🗺️

If your loved ones have chosen cremation and you wish for their remains to be inurned at Michigan Memorial Park, you may sign up for a free program. Watch this video for more information on Promises Day.

Promises Day offers families the opportunity to place a loved one’s cremated remains at no cost. Space is limited, so please call 734-782-2473 to reserve your spot.

Your loved one will be included in our permanent records for future generations to locate. Our staff will also ensure ongoing care of their resting place.

🏍️ Our Motorcycle Hearse offers a final ride for those who loved the open road.

🐴 The Horse-Drawn Military Caisson gives veterans a dignified tribute, honoring their service in the same way as at Arlington National Cemetery.

🏇 The Horse-Drawn Coach creates a classic procession with white or black horses. Families can also choose to walk alongside on the way to the burial site.
