We are proud to announce that Quinn Heston Dwyer has successfully passed the Michigan Funeral Directors Examination and is now going to officially be a Michigan Licensed Funeral Director!

Quinn represents the 5th generation of death care providers on both sides of her family. (Father’s side) - Dwyer Funeral Home was established in Pittsfield, MA in 1904 by Quinn’s great-great grandfather, Simon P. Dwyer and (Mother’s side) - Michigan Memorial Park was established in 1926 by her great-great grandfather, William Heston. She is also the 2nd generation at Michigan Memorial FH, established in 2001.

DID YOU KNOW? Ann Marston (a former international archery champion, child model, and later Miss Michigan) was laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park. 🌳

Born in England in 1938 and filmed by British Pathé as a young prodigy, she later became known as the “Sweetheart of the Bow & Arrow.” 🏹

Ann graced the August 8, 1955 cover of Sports Illustrated, and charmed audiences with precision exhibitions, including balcony-to-stage shots that burst balloons on cue.

She also helped promote Detroit’s emerging rock scene, all while managing Type 1 diabetes. Her life was remarkable and far too brief; she was just 33 when she passed.
