Intra-oral massage is helpful for opening up the jaw, relieving tension along the anterior neck and sometimes even restoring flexibility to the neck. It can help to alleviate tension headaches, teeth clenching, and begins the process of unraveling nervous tics of somatic connections where we clench our mouths in order to keep our true voices locked inside of our heads and seething within us.

Come book a session: I now offer 30 minute intra-oral and jaw work add-ons to complete the work of massage sessions to get to the crux of what is keeping you from manifesting your most supple spine self.

Overuse of lower Chakras (excess movement, running to work, dragging laundry, children, groceries) and of the upper chakras (excess worrying, planning, intellectual reasoning, computer work) can lead to a closure of the heart Chakra. Honor your heart's vital place in your body and in your life through massage, cupping, stretching and resting and see how your headaches diminish and your neck pain quiets down.
Here, you see a blend of myofascial release techniques, with Graston Technique applied with help from Gua Sha and cupping therapy. Essential oils of peppermint and geranium were applied to the chest to facilitate further opening to occur.

Prenatal massage isn't meant to be just a superficial, oily & greasy experience.
Your spine is a sacred temple that holds every movement and exertion you have ever committed your body to, and pregnant people then find themselves contorting their vertebrates to hold the development of a whole new being with it's own set of movements.
I see you, and I believe in you receiving deeper work, if that is what your body (and you) are calling for. That way, when the time is right and labor comes, you will be aligned with your spine, and your spine aligned with a whole new set of exertion, as you push your way through the journey of parenthood.

Holiday gift pouches are here for my faithful clients. Thank you for trusting in my practice (and in yours) this year.
Inside are a homemade rose shaped beeswax candle with cinnamon to float on your champagne glass and make a manifestation wish for yourself for the upcoming year on New Year's Eve,
A homemade chapstick with pine oil and a coconut oil infusion of chrysanthemum
And a sample of my secret butterfly pea blue eye cream with infusions of white pepper, licorice root, Palo Santo, and chamomile and palo Santo oils (with other secrets) to coax us into opening our eyes and soothing their visions as they take in the world around us.
Honor your body and honor your dreams.

What is the difference between surviving obstacles and overcoming them? Does one overcome the obstacles when they arrive at the physical finish line, or is it when they allow their nervous system to catch up with the experience, and then their mind and heart unite to process what it meant for their spirit? Here, I've lain a cup on an accupoint along the sternum, meant for keeping the chest open and the emotions awakened, with essential oil of pine spread along the Lung meridian to keep breathing anchored to the kidneys. Fall is a time for grief and reflexion-lets keep our bodies prepped and listened to, so that they can catch up to our present and keep us warm as the winds bring their faint chill around us.

Hello everyone! Be careful out there today, and remember to use your tongue for good! Studies have encountered connections between those who tend to lie, and certain physiological issues which can lead to anxiety and even chronic pain.

(Anxiety often triggers inflammation which compromises muscles and hurts joints, digestion, etc).
