Good luck to these kids as they travel to the International Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN!!

Graduate Andelina Fleming and Senior Lauren Pritt will be competing in Health Career Display, with their display about Neurology.

Graduate Teagan Huff will be competing in Medical Spelling, equivalent to a Spelling Bee of Medical Terminology.

This evening, the Braxton County Board of Education recognized HOSA members who competed at the State Leadership Conference in March. Two members, Historian Joslynn Napier and Alexander Dennison went to represent our chapter. The following events & students were recognized:

Health Career Display- Second Place: Alexis “Lexy” Knowlton and Lauren Pritt

Medical Spelling- Third Place: Teagan Huff

Mental Health Promotion- Fourth Place: Mackinzey “Inzey” Anderson, Alexander “Xander” Dennison, Joslynn Napier

Phlebotomy: Andelina Fleming

3 of these students will go to compete at the International Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN. We wish all who are competing well, and congratulate all members who had the courage to compete!!
