A lot of complaints I see are tight or stiff necks or backs. A patient recently complained of the inability to turn their neck to the right after a motor vehicle collision and although therapy and steroid injections "helped", they provided only temporary relief and the pain returned and the restriction was still there. After a few visits with their mobile chiropractor, they were able to start turning their head further.

As adults, we experience these symptoms and as they go on not unaddressed, the problems get worse over time. Arthritis sets in, headaches become daily and then you start to notice other issues like painful shoulders, hips, knees.

Chiropractors have extensive knowledge of the human frame and how it works. What you may feel in one place, could actually be the symptom of something stemming from somewhere else: that's usually a misalignment in the spine, or the joint in an extremity.

December 31st!! This is my last cup of Joe before 2026 and after that, Dr. Jess is giving up coffee!

This is a resolution that has been in the works since rhe beginning of December. Why? Glad you asked!

There are conflicting studies about coffee and health but really this is a personal choice as caffeine becomes addicting. Not only that, unless you pay a lot of money for organic coffee, youre exposed to pesticides and mold. Yuck!

Our bodies rely on our hormones to be increased to wake us up in the mornings. Increased cortisol and insulin and when we haven't had adequate sleep, we reach for that rocket fuel and basically tell our bodies "I got this." Even if we slept well, its an addictive habit.

Dr. Jess has weened herself from this addictive morning habit, like anything else you need to do, to avoid crashes and headaches and allow her body to rely, naturally, on the body to awaken itself properly.

As the year closes, I want to take the time to express my sincere gratitude to all of my practice members for trusting me as your family chiropractor. It is my honor and something I dont take lightly.

This week Dr. Hudson was given the opportunity to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at a Clay County Commissioners meeting.

In the State of Florida, the veteran population is 1,395,602. Clay County veteran population is over 28,000 in a 2024 report. Our military veterans make up a huge part of the community and always have the desire and calling to continue to serve; even after they leave their military obligations.

Dr. Hudson served 20 years in the United States Navy, active and reserves, and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 2019. She served in multiple campaigns, including a tour to Iraq, and continues to serve the community as a mobile chiropractor.
