Registered Nurse (RN) – Gastroenterology
Monday - Friday • No weekends • No holidays
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team! The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of minimally invasive procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Monitor and assess patient vitals before, during, and after procedures
🔹 Assist in the preparation and ex*****on of endoscopic and other minimally invasive procedures
🔹 Provide hands-on support to physicians and medical staff during procedures
🔹 Administer medications under physician guidance
🔹 Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
🔹 Ensure patient safety and follow infection control protocols
Requirements:
🔹 Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
🔹 Experience providing nursing care in a clinical setting
🔹 Experience in gastroenterology preferred
🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
🔹 Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills
🔹 Strong commitment to providing quality patient care
🔹 Knowledge of medical terminology
🔹 Proficient in the use of electronic medical records
