A big thank you to the Somerset County Commissioners! Erin Cohen, Executive Director of Prevention Services, and Jerri Collevechio, Director of the Safe Communities Coalition of Hunterdon and Somerset, were presented with a check for $3,500 from Lisa Federico of Somerset County’s Department of Human Services. The funding, awarded through the Opioid Settlement Grants Community Solutions initiative, will support activities for Save a Life Day.

Save a Life Day, taking place this year on September 25, 2025, is a national day of action dedicated to preventing overdose deaths and raising awareness about substance use disorders. Communities across the country come together to distribute free naloxone (Narcan), offer overdose response training, and provide educational resources to help save lives.
